England Secure World Cup Spot with Comprehensive Victory Over Greece

England secured their place in the 2023 World Cup with a dominant 5-0 victory over Greece in the second leg of their play-off tie at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland on Thursday. The win, coupled with a 3-1 victory in the first leg, saw England advance with an aggregate score of 8-1.

Greece, meanwhile, will reflect on a disappointing campaign. The team had high hopes of qualifying for the World Cup, but a series of poor results, including a 3-1 loss in the first leg, ultimately proved too much to overcome.
