Microsoft Surface Pro 12-inch Price Drop Announced

The second generation of the 12-inch Microsoft Surface Pro, equipped with a Snapdragon X2 Plus ARM processor, is now available at a reduced price. The new hybrid tablet, which is designed to offer improved performance over its predecessor, is being sold by Boulanger for €1,279, down from its original price of €1,379.

The price reduction comes as the device is now available for purchase. The Snapdragon X2 Plus chip is intended to deliver enhanced performance capabilities compared to the previous generation.

The device is targeted at users who require a versatile and powerful computing experience, whether for work, entertainment, or both.

CONTEXT/BACKGROUND: Microsoft's Surface Pro line has been a popular choice for consumers seeking a versatile 2-in-1 device that can function as both a tablet and a laptop. The integration of ARM-based processors, such as the Snapdragon X2 Plus, marks a shift towards more power-efficient and high-performance computing solutions. This price reduction on the 12-inch Surface Pro 2nd generation is significant as it makes the device more accessible to a broader range of consumers, potentially driving increased adoption of ARM-based technology in the market.
