Nvidia Confirms RTX 5090 Supply Constraints

Nvidia has addressed concerns regarding the availability of its RTX 5090 graphics card, clarifying the situation during an event in Taipei on October 16. The company's senior vice president, Jeff Fisher, confirmed that the product has not been discontinued but acknowledged that supply chain issues are impacting its availability.

Fisher's statement came as the RTX 5090 disappeared from Nvidia's official online store in the United States. This sudden removal from the online store has raised questions about the product's future.

Nvidia has not provided a specific timeline for when the supply chain issues will be resolved or when the RTX 5090 will be available for purchase again. However, the company has assured customers that the product is still in development and has not been discontinued.

This news follows a period of uncertainty for Nvidia, as the company has faced numerous challenges in the semiconductor industry, including global supply chain disruptions and increased demand for high-performance graphics cards.

Nvidia has not released any further details about the RTX 5090, including its specifications or release date. The company has not commented on whether the supply chain issues will affect the release of other products in its lineup.
