··1 min read
Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Williams has been shifted to a defensive midfield role by manager Jesse Marsch, following a period of goal-scoring struggles. This change comes after Williams had not scored a goal in 10 matches.
Williams has been working on his defensive skills under Marsch, who took over from Glasner earlier this month.
Marsch has been implementing new strategies and tactics since taking over the team. The new role for Williams is part of these changes.
The midfielder has been focusing on improving his defensive contributions to the team, aiming to help the team maintain a stronger defensive structure.
Williams has been working on his defensive positioning and tackling, as well as his ability to read the game and anticipate opponent movements.
Nottingham Forest is currently in the middle of the Premier League table. The team has been working on improving their overall performance and consistency.
Williams' adaptation to the new role is seen as a key factor in the team's efforts to strengthen their defensive capabilities and improve their league position.
The team's next match is scheduled for the end of this month.
CONTEXT: The changes at Nottingham Forest come as the team looks to improve its performance in the Premier League. The mid-table position reflects a need for tactical adjustments and player role adaptations to secure better results.
