Tech Giants and Billionaires Fund Trump's Ballroom Project

President Donald Trump's ballroom project has received $333 million in private donations, with substantial contributions from tech companies and billionaires, according to a new report.
The largest donations came from tech giants Apple and Nvidia, each contributing $25 million. Other significant donors include billionaires Miriam Adelson, Charlie Ergen, and Isaac Perlmutter, along with his wife Laura, who collectively donated over $47 million. Additionally, donations from Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, RHI II LLC, and Palantir each amounted to $10 million.
The list of donors includes 67 contributions above $10,000 and 57 above $100,000, recorded as of late September. Furthermore, at least $77 million was donated by individuals who requested anonymity. The fund, managed through Trump's lawyer John P. Coale, contributed $22 million from a $24.5 million settlement in a case against Google’s YouTube.
Tech industry contributions totaled $166.1 million, with notable donors including Amazon, Cisco, Meta, the Baszucki Gift Fund, and ServiceNow, each giving $5 million. Additionally, hedge fund founder Paul Singer and Susquehanna trading firm cofounder Jeff Yass' donor-advised fund Elliott Management each contributed $5 million.
Nvidia, which donated $25 million, requested anonymity for its contribution. The company made this donation in October 2025, approximately three months after reaching a deal with the Trump administration to sell its microchips to China. Nvidia spokesperson John Rizzo stated that the company's support for the United States is independent of any business interests.
CONTEXT: This funding highlights the significant financial support from both the tech industry and prominent billionaires for President Trump's initiatives, underscoring the influence of private donations in political and public projects.
