Algerian Authorities Disrupt Drug Trafficking Network in Chlef

The initial intervention occurred at a checkpoint in central Chlef, where a vehicle carrying two suspects from a western province was stopped and searched. The discovery of drugs led to further investigations by the Research and Intervention Brigade to Combat Crime.
These investigations identified and arrested two additional suspects, one from Chlef and the other from a western province, resulting in the dismantling of the entire network.
The seized drugs were intended for distribution in the northern part of Chlef province.
