Saudi-led coalition denies targeting Yemen tribes

The Saudi-led coalition has denied allegations by Yemen's Houthi group that it plans to target Yemeni tribes. The Houthis, backed by Iran, made the accusation on Thursday, stating that Saudi Arabia was threatening to target Yemeni tribes. The coalition, which supports the internationally recognized Yemeni government, refuted these claims. The Houthis had warned that any Saudi action against tribes would have catastrophic and unforeseen consequences, and that they would resort to major options they had not previously considered.

The Houthis, who control the capital Sanaa, have been engaged in a conflict with the Saudi-led coalition since 2015. The conflict has resulted in a severe humanitarian crisis, with millions of people displaced and in need of aid. The Houthis have previously accused the coalition of targeting civilian areas, which the coalition has consistently denied.
