Israeli forces have been conducting military operations in Hebron and surrounding areas for the third consecutive day, displacing hundreds of families. The operations include raids on homes, demolition of buildings, and the closure of roads and entrances. The military activities have intensified, with additional reinforcements and stricter restrictions on civilian movement.

On Sunday, Israeli forces raided several towns, including Halhul, Samu, Idhna, and Tarkumia, as well as the Sengar area and the southern part of Hebron. Homes were raided in Samu and Idhna, and military operations continued in Tarkumia and Sengar. Additional reinforcements were sent to Ein Dair Baha, where a residential building was raided and a motorcycle was seized.

Hebron and its surrounding areas have been under a wide-scale closure, with military checkpoints and road closures isolating the city from neighboring villages and towns. Citizens and vehicles have been restricted from moving freely, while residential areas have been raided and citizens have been detained and subjected to field investigations.

Since the start of the operation on Friday, Israeli forces have forced around 1,500 Palestinians from approximately 250 families to leave their homes in the Dair Baha and Jalda areas of Hebron. Estimates suggest a plan to displace an additional 2,500 residents from these areas, which together house around 500 families and span approximately 350 dunams.

The Hebron governorate reported that the operation has caused the displacement of over 200 families, leaving them without shelter. Many families have been forced to spend the night outdoors after being evicted from their homes. Israeli forces have marked evacuated homes and distributed notices to other families, instructing them to leave their homes without taking their vehicles, raising concerns about the potential expansion of forced displacement in the region.

Hebron Mayor Yusuf al-Jabari stated that Israeli forces aim to displace around 2,500 residents from Dair Baha and Jalda, noting the marking of evacuated homes and the distribution of notices to remaining residents to leave. The municipality of Hebron declared a state of emergency, opening shelters to accommodate displaced families, and discussed the impact of the operation and ways to address humanitarian needs during an emergency meeting with representatives from official, civilian, and relevant entities.

The Israeli forces have been demolishing homes and structures, and converting others into military sites.
