Ohtani Set for Dodgers' Game 3 Lineup vs. Brewers

Los Angeles, CA - Shohei Ohtani will be in the starting lineup for the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 3 of the National League Championship Series (NLCS) against the Milwaukee Brewers. The game is scheduled for Wednesday at Dodger Stadium.

Manager Dave Roberts confirmed the news to reporters on Tuesday, following a productive discussion with the two-time National League MVP. Ohtani's inclusion in the lineup comes after a period of underperformance.

Ohtani, a key player for the Dodgers, has been facing challenges in his recent games. The decision to include him in the lineup is expected to bolster the team's offensive capabilities. The Dodgers currently trail the Brewers 2-0 in the best-of-seven series.

Game 3 is crucial for the Dodgers as they aim to avoid falling further behind in the series. The team will be looking to Ohtani's versatile skills to contribute both at the plate and in the field. The Brewers, on the other hand, will be seeking to extend their lead and move closer to the World Series.

CONTEXT: The NLCS is a high-stakes playoff series in Major League Baseball, determining which team will advance to the World Series. The Dodgers, one of the most successful franchises in MLB history, are aiming to return to the World Series for the second consecutive year. The Brewers, known for their strong pitching and timely hitting, are looking to secure their first World Series appearance since 1982.
