Artist John Dilg Exhibits New Landscape Paintings

Artist John Dilg presented 13 new landscape paintings at the Peter Freeman Gallery in Paris, France, in 2024. The exhibition featured works created between 2024 and 2026, with ten of the paintings produced this year.
Twelve of the paintings measured 14 x 18 1/8 inches, with a consistent palette of pale blues, celadon greens, browns, and off-white. The artist used oil paint, charcoal, and graphite to create the contours of natural forms. The paintings depict serene landscapes with minimal human presence, often under a full moon, creating a sense of perpetual twilight.
Despite the uniformity in size, palette, and application, Dilg's works exhibit unique qualities in each piece. The exhibition highlighted Dilg's distinctive style, which has remained consistent over the past decade.
