Algerian Authorities Seize 69kg of Cocaine, Disrupt Criminal Network

Algerian security forces have seized 69 kilograms of cocaine and dismantled a criminal network in Tamanrasset. The operation, conducted by the Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI) of the national security, targeted a plot to transport the cocaine from southern to northern Algeria.

The cocaine was hidden in the cavities of a refrigerated truck. The operation resulted in the arrest of two individuals linked to the criminal network. The security forces successfully thwarted the planned trafficking of the cocaine shipment.
