Three Horror Classics Return to Streaming Platforms

Three classic horror films, Barbarian, The Fly, and Altered States, have returned to streaming platforms in October 2026.

Barbarian, a 2022 horror film, is now available to stream. The film, directed by Zach Cregger, follows a young woman who, after a series of strange events, becomes trapped in a remote cabin. The movie has been praised for its unique blend of horror and dark comedy.

The Fly, a 1986 science fiction horror film, is also now available to stream. Directed by David Cronenberg, the film stars Jeff Goldblum as a scientist who, through a series of experiments, becomes a grotesque hybrid of human and fly. The Fly is a remake of the 1958 film of the same name, and is known for its graphic and disturbing imagery.

Altered States, a 1980 science fiction horror film, is also now available to stream. Directed by Ken Russell, the film follows a scientist who, through a series of experiments, begins to regress to a more primitive state. The film is based on the 1978 novel of the same name by Paddy Chayefsky.

All three films are available to stream on various platforms.
