Fiat Grande Panda Electric Gets 400 km Range for €25,900

The Fiat Grande Panda electric vehicle has been upgraded with a new 54 kWh battery, increasing its range to 400 kilometers under the WLTP cycle. The updated model starts at €25,900 before any applicable bonuses or incentives.
This enhancement positions the Fiat Grande Panda competitively among other electric city cars. The Citroën ë-C3, which shares technical similarities with the Grande Panda, has not yet received this battery upgrade.
The new battery offers a significant improvement in range, making the Fiat Grande Panda more attractive to consumers looking for an affordable electric vehicle with extended driving capabilities. The price point of €25,900, before incentives, is notably lower than some of its competitors, such as the Renault 5, which starts at a higher price point.
Fiat's decision to equip the Grande Panda with a larger battery reflects a broader industry trend towards increasing the range of electric vehicles to address consumer concerns about charging infrastructure and driving anxiety.
This move by Fiat comes as the market for electric vehicles continues to grow, with more manufacturers introducing new models and improving existing ones to meet increasing demand and regulatory requirements.
