Moroccan lawyer Kouther Badran, president of the Italian association AGAMI, expressed hope that the permanent legal and economic forum between Morocco and Italy will serve as a platform for enhancing cooperation between the two countries. Speaking in Rabat on Friday, Badran highlighted the forum's aim to align the visions of Italian and Moroccan institutions, as well as civil society organizations.

Badran emphasized the importance of structured legal migration, stating that it should be based on training and education. She noted that AGAMI aims to understand the requirements of the Italian job market and the skills needed by Italian companies. This understanding will pave the way for training programs in Morocco and strengthen cooperation between the two nations, presenting a positive image of both countries.

AGAMI, based in Italy, comprises a network of lawyers, academics, experts, and researchers interested in law and cooperation in the Mediterranean, Europe, and Africa. The association focuses its efforts on enhancing and developing relations between Morocco and Italy.

Badran led a high-level Italian delegation, including top lawyers, professionals, and economic and social activists. She expressed pride in accompanying members of the delegation, some of whom were visiting Morocco for the first time, and reiterated AGAMI's commitment to bridging the gap between Morocco and Italy since its establishment in 2011.

Badran highlighted the significance of arbitration as a strategic tool for facilitating business deals, preventing disputes, and providing the legal security needed to encourage trade exchanges and investment flows between the two countries.

Badran concluded by expressing AGAMI's aspiration to work jointly to reduce the distance between legal professionals, institutions, and companies in both countries. She hoped that the agreements signed would mark the beginning of a productive development path serving the mutual interests of Morocco and Italy.
